This has been bugging me for YEARS, so maybe y'all can help. I remember starting this in 4th grade, never finished the book then, but have been trying to find it basically since, haha. The book itself was relatively thick, it wasn't the first in a series, and I found it at half price books on a shelf with many books by the same author. The other one is The Sirens of Titan by Vonnegut. It's my favorite Vonnegut book that I read for the first time this year. It was hilarious and depressing and relieving all at the same time. It affected me on that it stems from my feelings with The Stranger but to remember to just the people around you because damnit we should all be loved!
